NuTec not only offers turnkey automation development capabilities but also offers build to print and build to spec services. Many of NuTec’s customers supply defined size and operational parameters (built-to-spec) or fully developed specifications and functional requirements (build-to-print). Combining in-house and regional resources, NuTec has been providing “Built-to” capabilities to our clients for over 30 years.

Build to Print

With build-to-print projects, NuTec uses internal, external domestic, and low cost country sourcing (LCCS) resources to produce, assemble, and test build-to-print projects.

We produce work instructions, assembly drawings, and manufacturing practices to build equipment, assemblies, and parts to customer specifications. Our customers often look for us to detail parts, create assemblies, and subcontract labor if required based upon complete design specification packages.

The goal of our build-to-print automation projects is to leverage procurement, concurrent engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and testing skills to competitively manufacture equipment developed by our customers.

Design and Build to Specification

NuTec uses its extensive custom engineering and manufacturing experience to evaluate customer specifications and functional requirements based upon design for manufacture and assembly principles.

Using design for manufacture (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) approaches NuTec works with customers to detail, procure, assemble, and test build-to-spec packages to customer functional requirements.

Our goal with build-to-specification projects is to leverage in-house design expertise, manufacturing capabilities, and supply chain management to efficiently and effectively design and manufacture equipment, assemblies, and parts.

  • New Product Development
  • Prototyping
